Hangover drip
A hangover is several problems at once and fluid loss is only one of them. This bag targets the part an infusion can genuinely reach: volume, electrolytes and the nausea and headache that come with them. What it cannot do is undo the rest, and it is worth knowing which is which.
The honest version
Alcohol suppresses the hormone that tells your kidneys to hold water, so you lose fluid and the salts dissolved in it. That part is straightforwardly a fluid problem and it is the part an infusion fixes quickly and completely.
The headache and nausea are partly that fluid loss and partly inflammation and the breakdown products your liver is still working through. Anti-inflammatory and anti-nausea medications added to the line address the symptoms directly where a clinician approves them.
What no drip touches is the sleep you did not get or the alcohol still being processed. Anyone promising you a reset is overselling. More in hangover science and the hydration drip. See iv drips for the detail.
On the day
This is the drip people are least able to travel for, which is the entire reason mobile visits exist. Give an address and a window and stay where you are.
How much, how recently, and what else you took. Your nurse is not there to judge it, they are there to decide what is safe to add to the line. A vague answer gets you a more cautious bag.
The volume is the part that does most of the work, run at a comfortable rate. Add-ons go in once the line is settled rather than all at the start.
Most people feel the fluid part before the bag finishes. The headache usually lags. Plan for a quiet hour rather than expecting to be out the door in twenty minutes.
What it costs
Hangover bags sit in the middle of published menus because the fluid base is inexpensive and the add-ons are not. Collected ranges in this market land around $125 to $250 for the bag, with anti-nausea and anti-inflammatory additions commonly $20 to $40 each.
Weekend mornings are the busiest window in this whole category, which is worth knowing when you are booking on the day. Group bookings after an event split the travel fee. See drip pricing, add-ons and after-hours and travel.

What it reaches, how fast, what goes in it and whether it is worth the money.
Booked at nine, nurse at eleven, functional by one. The day was not written off.
She asked exactly what I had taken and adjusted what went in. I had not expected that level of care for a hangover.
Four of us after a wedding, one travel fee. Cheaper each than a single visit.
Helped with the sick feeling more than the tiredness. They did tell me that would be the case.
