Group pricing

Group IV pricing, and why it costs less each

The arithmetic is short: everyone pays for their own drip, and the travel fee is charged once for the visit rather than once per person. That single rule is why booking with two friends usually costs less each than booking alone, and why a group of eight barely notices the mobile premium at all.

  • One travel fee for the visit
  • Everyone pays their own drip
  • Biggest single saving available

The arithmetic

How the per-person total falls with numbers

Alone, you pay the drip price plus the whole travel fee, collected in this market at roughly $50 to $100. With two people that fee halves each. With four it quarters. By eight it is a rounding error against the bag price and the mobile premium has effectively disappeared.

That is the entire mechanism and it is worth saying plainly because most providers leave you to work it out. There is no group discount on the drips themselves, and there does not need to be, because the travel fee was always the part that made mobile cost more than a clinic.

Venue bookings start at five guests. Below that, any number of people at one address still share one fee. See groups and events and travel fees. Planning

What scales, and what does not, with a group

  1. Drip prices do not scale

Each person pays for what they have. There is no bulk rate on the bags and there does not need to be, because the saving comes from the fee rather than a discount.

  2. Nurse time does scale

Beyond a certain headcount a second nurse is needed to finish in an afternoon. That is quoted at planning rather than appearing later, so give a rough number early.

  3. Intake definitely scales

Every guest gets their own private history. It is the part that takes the afternoon and it cannot be batched, so budget more time than the drips alone suggest.

  4. The saving is largest at three or four

Going from one to four people removes most of the mobile premium. Going from four to eight changes very little per head, though it does need more nurses.

Two people counts

You do not need a party to save

Two people at one address already halve the travel fee each. A partner, a housemate, a neighbour on the same street, or a colleague at the same office all count. This is the most commonly missed saving in the whole service.

It does not need to be the same drip either. One person having hydration and another having a Myers is still one visit and one travel fee. Different blends, different prices, one fee between them.

Common questions

Miami group pricing questions, answered

How the fee is split, minimum numbers, and whether everyone needs the same drip.

Everyone pays for their own drip and the travel fee is charged once for the visit rather than per person. There is no bulk discount on the bags, because the travel fee was always the part that made mobile cost more.
Two is enough to halve the fee each. Venue bookings for events start at five guests. Below that, any number of people at one address still share one travel fee.
No. One person on hydration and another on a Myers is still one visit and one travel fee. Different blends at different prices, one fee between you.
No, and there does not need to be. The saving comes from splitting the travel fee, which is where the mobile premium actually lives. A provider offering both is worth comparing on the all-in total.
Beyond a certain headcount a second nurse is needed to finish in an afternoon, and that is quoted at planning rather than added later. Give a rough number a week ahead and you get a firm figure.
It depends on how often you book. For an occasional visit, splitting the fee saves more. For a monthly rhythm, a membership does. Doing both saves most, and your nurse will say which applies to you.
